Products »  Super Insulated Vacuum Piping »  Vacuum, Cleaning & Testing

To be able to pull a good vacuum level the piping has to clean and free from all traces of grease, dirt and any other impurities. Anything less will result in outgassing and an inability to maintain a high level of vacuum. The result of loss of vacuum or poor vacuum levels are sweating on the outside of the pipe line.

All components of a Cryofin Vacuum Insulated line are cleaned thoroughly before assembly and no Vacuum Insulated Pipe spool leaves our factory without a retention test to confirm the vacuum level is holding. All of these procedures are part of our quality system and each Super Insulated Vacuum Line manufactured is issued with an ITP and we welcome our customers to be involved in our quality system and where possible become signatories to important hold points during manufacture, it provides confidence all round. We can include hydrostatic tests, cold shock (LIN) tests, retention tests other than 7 days, pneumatic helium leak tests, any tests you as a customer requests.
